  • How quickly does my bank transfer reach my investment account?

The speed at which your bank transfer reaches your Crowdestate investment account depends on the type of transfer and your bank’s capabilities:

    SEPA payments

    • Instant SEPA payments: If your bank supports instant SEPA payments, your funds will typically reach your Crowdestate investment account almost immediately.
    • Standard SEPA payments: If your bank is a SEPA member but does not support instant SEPA payments, your funds are usually transferred within a few hours.

    International payments

    • For international transfers, the processing time varies depending on your bank and the payment method. In most cases, international payments take a few business days to arrive. It’s advisable to check with your local bank for specific details regarding transfer speed and associated costs.

    Crowdestate's client account

Crowdestate’s segregated client account is held with LHV Bank, Estonia. Once your payment reaches Crowdestate's account, the funds are automatically deposited into your investment account. If you have enabled email notifications in your settings, you will receive a confirmation once the deposit is processed.

    Important note

Include your unique reference number when making a bank transfer to your investment account. This ensures the payment is processed automatically and without delays. Your reference number can be found in the bank transfer details of your investment account.

Payments from and to high-risk countries

Due to various sanctions, our clearing bank, LHV Bank AS, has imposed several restrictions regarding payments to or from high-risk countries, including a 100 EUR per payment processing fee. Also, certain countries have been placed on their blacklist, meaning no payment to and from these countries can be made at all.

Therefore since May 1, 2023, Crowdestate can not receive deposits from and execute payments to several high-risk countries named in various lists of the European Union, the European Commission, Eurostat, FATF and the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit.

When you are opening an investment account with Crowdestate, you would need to provide us with your bank or payment account opened in a bank or payment institution operating in a low-risk, unrestricted jurisdiction. If your current country has been classified as a high-risk country, and your bank account is opened in a local bank operating in this high-risk, restricted country, you will not be able to use that bank account number to open an investment account with Crowdestate. We recommend that you open a bank or payment account in a bank or payment institution operation in a low-risk country first and then use that bank or payment account to open an investment account with Crowdestate. There are a number of neobanks and payment institutions (e.g. Revolut, Wise, N26, Monzo, Monese or Paysera, and several our international investors have chosen to use a bank or payment account opened with them.

When you already have an investment account with us and have provided us with a bank account opened in a bank operating in a restricted country, your investment account has been automatically suspended by us. To reactivate your investment account, please log in, review your investment account details and replace your currently provided bank account with the one opened in a non-restricted country. If you cannot do that, please contact our Investor Support at info@crowdestate.eu for further assistance.

Please see the list of restricted countries in our FAQ.
